chocolate is something that most of us just can’t get enough, from candy bars, cakes, and so much more. M has never been a fan of brownies until E came up with the idea to make these homemade brownies topped with a caramel cream cheese icing.
These brownies are not only the perfect amount of chocolatey goodness and sweet but also the perfect thickness. We knew immediately this recipe needed to be shared so you all can enjoy these incredibly moist brownies along with us.
Brownie Recipe [About 9 brownies]
1 stick of butter (melted)
1 Cup of cocoa
2 1/2 Cups of flour
1/2 tsp baking powder
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 tsp of Salt
2 Cups of sugar
1 1/2 of Milk
Heat oven to 350° and grease a 8×8 square baking pan.
In a large mixing bowl mix cocoa, flour, sugar, salt and baking powder. Add egg and mix, then add butter, vanilla extract and milk and mix until smooth.
Pour into greased pan and pop in the oven for 15-20 mins. [Check with toothpick to be sure they are cooked throughout]
Now it’s time for the icing!
1 Pkg Cream Cheese
2 Tbsp powder sugar
2 Tbsp caramel syrup
Mix all ingredients thoroughly until mix becomes smooth
Once the brownies cool add icing, top with more caramel and serve.
Just look at the thickness of this brownie!
