Dinner time can be one of the hardest meals to make, with different opinions and tastes it can quickly become a hassle, especially if you are running low on time. As an adult time is never on our side and all we want to do at the end of the day is whip up a quick meal and relax.
Here we are to save the day!
After playing around with the recipe we came up with this quick and delicious meal that feeds the whole family!
Spicy shrimp ramen! Your taste buds will thank you after!
Ingredients:
5-6 packs of Ramen noodles
1 (16oz) bag of mix vegetables
1 bag medium size shrimp
1 (16oz) bag of sweet peppers (red, orange and yellow)
1 tbsp of butter
4 tbsp of Soy sauce
1 teaspoon of garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon of ground ginger
2 teaspoons of curry powder
2 teaspoons of Cajun seasoning
1/4 teaspoon of salt
1/4 teaspoon of black pepper
Now it’s time to prepare this awesome meal!
Directions:
First we start with the shrimp. Get a medium size sauce pan on medium heat. Add your butter and let it melt down.
While you’re waiting grab a pot and fill half way with water and let boil.
Take out a pot and add a few tbsps of water to begin steaming your vegetables on medium heat.
Now that you have melted the butter its time to add the shrimp, let it cook for about 2-3 mins and then add your seasoning. Let the shrimp cook for another 5 mins then remove from heat.
Now that you’ve had the vegetables on for a few its time to add your salt and pepper. Continue steaming until vegetables become soft.
Once your pot of water begins to boil add in your noodles. Before adding in your noodles crush the noodles to make room for all the packets and Remove the seasoning packets from your packages (save a couple of them, we will need it). Leave noodles to boil, stirring every few minutes until they become soft.
While You’re waiting on the noodles you want to begin grating the ginger up.
Once soft, strain the noodles, add back to your pot then add the two of your noodle seasoning packets, soy sauce, ginger and garlic powder. Stir until noodles are fully coated.
Time to Eat!
Add noodles, vegetables and shrimp to a bowl.
This meal takes about 20 minutes tops and give you the rest of the evening to relax and maybe some M.E time…
