American food is pretty basic, you have your BBQ, burgers, french fries etc. It’s very rare to come across a restaurant who serves a different style of burgers & fries, well at least that’s what we thought before coming across “That Burger Spot” online.
The menu consists of burgers, pretty straight to the point right? Well , not so much! This is a have it your way kind of restaurant, you can choose your type of burger from options like; beef, chicken, turkey & even a black bean option for vegetarians.
M got ‘The Fresh Prince’ burger, like the 90’s hit show starring Will Smith. It’s an all beef patty (100% Angus) Topped with provolone cheese, grilled onions and BBQ Sauce. This mouth-watering burger really had my taste buds going! Yummy!
E got a FREESTYLED black bean burger meaning you get unlimited toppings of your choice, isn’t that the best? This burger has grilled onions, grilled mushroom, pepperjack cheese, ketchup and mustard. It’s a great option for vegetarians & if you are vegan, go ahead and toss that cheese to the side and enjoy the flavor journey this amazing burger will take you on.
We topped our burgers off with their delicious crinkle-cut Cajun fries. These fries were not only golden but had amazing crisp in every bite leaving us wanting more.
The best part of this trip to ‘That Burger Spot’ was that we only spent $21.90 for both meals & drinks while also receiving 20% cash back by using groupon+. I can’t get enough burgers and fries! It would be amazing to have a burger joint this good close to home. I keep hoping one will open up nearby. Now that I read this post, I have a feeling I’ll be renewing my efforts to find out that’s not too far away! My favorite burger place of all time is called “Dune Burger” and it’s in Nags Head, North Carolina. Next time I’m in the Atlanta area I’ll have to check out ‘That Burger Spot’.
