Reviewing Everything We Ate On A Seven-Day Vacation With One Of The Most Popular Cruise Lines: The Series

Vacationing is the only time in our lives where we can take a step away from bills, work and the hardest part of all, figuring out  what to cook for dinner! Our worries become which swimsuit to wear to the beach and which meal you should have someone else cook for you! That’s the life! Well, until it comes to an end!

We took a seven day vacation on a beautiful Carnival cruise and ate all that we possibly could. After our first Carnival Cruise we learned a whole lot, like how to keep yourself awake through a relaxing ride on the ocean.

Being our true selves, the number one thing we took advantage of was being far away from our own kitchen. Of course we couldn’t go on a seven day vacation and not document EVERYTHING we ate. So, we decided to create an entire vacation series! Everything we ate for dinner on our second Carnival Cruise vacation.

Night #1:

The Appetizer

A flavor filled and fresh crab cake over a bed of slaw.

Rating: ☆☆☆☆☆/5

The Dinner

Melt in your mouth filet mignon with mashed potatoes and green beans.

Rating: ☆☆☆☆/5

The Dessert

Our first time having crème brulee and yes, it was as delicious as it looks!

Rating: ☆☆☆☆☆/5

Our mission on this trip was to try anything we’ve never had before and we succeeded. Going so far as to try iguana while in Honduras! Here are some pictures we took from our first days while out in the Grand Caymans & Mahogany Bay!

Stay tuned for the next part of our series and check out everything we ate and our view from our stops.

What was one of the strangest foods you’ve tried while on vacation?
