The Most Delicious Oatmeal Raisin Cookie You’ve Ever Had

It’s that time of the year for all of the delicious sugar and gingerbread cookie recipes to surface. I know I cant be the only one ready to redefine the Christmas cookie? Santa will be coming around soon to bring you and your children all of the gifts you’ve asked for so its about time we give him something special.

Although the oatmeal cookie is a classic, I can guarantee you’ve never tried these two secret ingredients to kick up the flavor. Place these cookies out for Santa with a nice size glass of milk and prepare to get a little something extra from Kris kringle.

Heres what you’ll need:

1 1/2 cups flour

1 tsp saltd

1 cup augar

1 egg

1 stick melted butter

1 tsp baking powder

1 cup raisins

2 cups Oats

1 tbsp vanilla extract

*secret ingredients: 1tbsp cinnamon and 1 tbsp ground ginger*

Directions:

Preheat oven 350°.

In a large bowl mix together flour. Oats, sugar, baking powder, cinnamon and ginger.

Once mixed, add in melted butter, egg and vanilla extract then mix throroughly.

Add in raisins and mix again then place mix in refrigerator for 5 mins.

Grease your cookie sheet and an ice cream scoop with butter or a non-stick spray.

Take out of fridge and take ice cream scoop or hands to form perfect cookie balls.

Place in oven for about 15 mins. Or until cookies are lightly browned and baked throughout.

Take out & eat them all!

This recipe makes about 12 cookies!
